Competitors: what to bring to documentation
Documentation is where an official checks you in before you can start. Have these ready for the driver and the co-driver.
Bring
- ☐ Your licence, the actual card or document, for the event's sanctioning body
- ☐ Photo identification, if the organiser asks for it in the event documents
- ☐ Your vehicle's logbook, if your event uses one
- ☐ Anything else listed in the event's supplementary regulations or bulletins
- ☐ Your phone, signed in to your account, so you can show your entry
Check on your account before you arrive
- ☐ Your entry is "Accepted" under My entries
- ☐ Your profile is complete, with your emergency contact
- ☐ Your licence is saved and has not expired by the event date
- ☐ You and your co-driver have signed every declaration. Signing is online and stays open after the organiser accepts your entry until the day before the event, so do it early. On the day, a missing signature is signed on paper at documentation
- ☐ You have read every bulletin
At the table
- Tell the official your competition number or name.
- Show your licences. They compare them with the sheet.
- They check each item and initial your row.
- Collect your tag or card and go to scrutineering.
If something is missing
Tell the official at once. A missing licence or unsigned declaration is dealt with at the table, and the secretary decides whether you can start. A change of car, class or co-driver is recorded by the secretary.
