Put your events on your own website

Add a calendar, entry list, next-event banner or join button to your site, and share a calendar feed.

Open Widgets in the sidebar to get the code for each widget, see a live preview and copy the calendar feed address. Widgets show only what your public pages already show, so nothing needs switching on: an event appears once it is published, and drops out if it goes back to draft or is cancelled.

The widgets

  • Calendar. Your next ten upcoming events.
  • Next event banner. The next event, with an Enter button while its entries are open.
  • Entry list. Number, driver, co-driver, vehicle and class of the accepted entries of one event. Email addresses, phone numbers and licence numbers are never shown. The entry list stays empty until you tick Publish the names of accepted entrants on the Widgets page for that event. That also opens the event's public Entries page. Competitors can opt out of being named in their profile.
  • Series standings. The latest published standings of a season (series organisers, once the season's standings are public).
  • Join button. A button to your public page, or to one event.

Every link opens the full Stagewerk page in a new tab.

Add a widget to your site

  1. Open Widgets and choose the event if the widget needs one.
  2. Copy the Script tag code and paste it into an HTML block on your page. In WordPress use a Custom HTML block; in Member Jungle use an HTML or embed element.
  3. If your site does not allow scripts, copy the Iframe code instead. It works anywhere a page may include an iframe, and the widget stays the right height only with the script tag.

The widgets follow the visitor's light or dark setting and fit a column as narrow as 280 pixels.

If a widget does not appear

A website can set its own security policy. If yours blocks scripts from other sites, the script tag cannot run and the widget is left empty; add the Stagewerk address to the allowed script and frame sources, or use the iframe code. Widgets reload their content every minute or so, so a change can take a short while to show.

The calendar feed

The feed address lists all of your public events, with one all-day entry per event and a reminder for the moment entries close. Paste it into Google Calendar (Other calendars, From URL), Apple Calendar (New Calendar Subscription) or Outlook (Add calendar, From internet). Calendar apps refresh it on their own schedule, usually every few hours.
