Paying for your entry

Online payment is not available yet. This page describes what happens today and will be replaced when payment is switched on.

What happens today

• You are quoted a price when you enter. On the Extras and Review steps of the entry form you see "Your quote" with each fee, the GST and the total. See Enter an event.
• Submitting records the quote. When you choose "Submit entry", the quote becomes "What you agreed to" on your entry. Later changes to the organiser's fees do not change it.
• The organiser tells you how to pay. Nothing is charged by this site. The organiser contacts you with their instructions, and may move your entry to "Waiting for payment" until it is dealt with.

What you should do

1. Submit your entry as normal.
2. Watch your email, and your entry under "My entries", for the organiser's payment instructions.
3. If you have not heard anything, contact the organiser using the details on the event page. Do not pay anyone who is not the organiser.

If you withdraw

Your entry page shows what the event's policy says. The organiser handles any refund or credit directly with you. See Withdraw your entry.

If something goes wrong

• The total looks wrong. Check the extras you chose on the Extras step. If the entry is already submitted, ask for a change.
• You are not sure how to pay. Ask the organiser.
