Ask for a change to your entry
Ask the organiser to change your class, car or co-driver after you have submitted.
Once you have submitted, you cannot edit the entry yourself. You ask the organiser, who makes the change and tells you.
Send a request
- Open your entry from "My entries".
- Find "Ask for a change" near the bottom of the page.
- In "What needs to change?" say what you want. For example: "Please move me to the Modified class" or "My co-driver is now Sam Lee".
- Choose "Send request".
Your request appears below the form with the status "Waiting for the organiser". When the organiser closes it, the status changes to "Done" or "Declined" and their reply is shown under it.
The section only appears while your entry is submitted, waiting for documents or payment, accepted or waitlisted. A draft you can edit directly with "Continue entry". A withdrawn or rejected entry cannot be changed.
What the organiser can change
The organiser can change your vehicle, co-driver or class. Class changes depend on the places available and whether your car is eligible. They cannot change the driver. If the driver needs to change, withdraw and ask the new driver to enter, if entries are still open.
If something goes wrong
- You cannot see "Ask for a change". Your entry is in a state that cannot be changed. See Check your entry.
- Your request was declined. Read the reply. You can send a new request with more detail, or contact the organiser.
- Your co-driver wants a change. Any person on the entry can send a request.
