Enter an event step by step
Entering takes six steps. Your progress is saved as you go, so you can leave and come back. Make sure your profile, licence and vehicle are done first.
Start an entry
- Choose "Enter an event" in the sidebar, or "Enter this event" on the event's own page.
- Find the event and choose "Enter this event". If you already started, the button says "Continue your entry".
If no event is listed, entries are not open yet. The event page shows when they open and close.
Step 1: Class
- Choose the class you want to enter. Each class shows how many places are left.
- Choose "Save and continue".
If a class says "No places left", you can still enter it. The organiser will put your entry on the waitlist and it moves up if a place opens.
Step 2: Vehicle
- Choose the car you will drive. Each car shows whether it suits the class, and the status of its safety gear on the event date.
- If your car is not listed, choose "Add a vehicle", save it, then come back.
- Choose "Save and continue".
A car marked "Not eligible" cannot be picked for this class. The reason is shown under it.
Step 3: Crew
- If the event needs a co-driver, choose yours. If it does not, you can choose "No co-driver".
- To enter on behalf of a company, team or club, pick it in "Entrant (optional)". Leave it as "Entering as myself" otherwise.
- Choose "Save and continue".
Your co-driver must accept an invitation before you can pick them. See Add a co-driver.
Step 4: Details check
This step checks your profile, your licence on the event date and the event's other requirements. Each line is marked "OK", "Needs attention" or "For your information".
- For a line that needs attention, choose its button ("Complete profile" or "Add or update licence"), fix it and come back.
- When nothing needs attention, choose "Continue".
Declarations are not signed here. You sign them from the review step or after you submit. See Sign your declarations.
Step 5: Extras
- If the event offers optional extras, enter how many you want of each.
- Check "Your quote". It updates as you change the numbers.
- Choose "Save and continue".
The quote is a price, not a payment. See Paying for your entry.
Step 6: Review and submit
- Check your class, vehicle, co-driver and the quote. Use "Change" next to any item to go back and fix it.
- Read the withdrawal policy so you know what applies if you withdraw.
- Choose "Submit entry".
Your entry is not visible to the organiser until you submit it. When you submit, the price you were quoted is recorded as what you agreed to. The organiser cannot see a draft.
After you submit
Your entry goes to the organiser, who will accept it, waitlist it or ask for more. Follow it from "My entries". See Check your entry.
If something goes wrong
- "Submit entry" is greyed out. A step is incomplete. The list above the button links to each step that still needs something.
- You see "Entries are not open for this event." The entry window has not started or has closed. Contact the organiser.
- Your car or licence is rejected. See the reasons shown on the step, and Complete your profile, licence and vehicle.
- You want to change something after submitting. See Ask for a change to your entry.
