Sanctioning bodies

Getting started as a sanctioning body

What a sanctioning body can do on Stagewerk today: accredit scrutineers and read scrutiny records.

Stagewerk's support for sanctioning bodies is small today. This guide says plainly what exists.

Getting an account

A sanctioning body is set up by Stagewerk staff, who also link it to the body it speaks for. Ask the platform team. Owners can accredit scrutineers and read the audit. The Auditor role is read-only and can read the audit but not accredit.

What you can do

Both screens are under "Oversight" in the sidebar.

Accredit scrutineers

  1. Open "Accreditations".
  2. Under "Grant an accreditation", enter the "Email of the scrutineer", their "Level", an "Expiry date" and optional "Regions", then choose "Grant". The scrutineer needs an account with a verified email address.
  3. An organiser can then add that person to one of your body's events as a visiting scrutineer, without the person joining the organiser.
  4. You can change the level, expiry or regions, or revoke the accreditation with a reason. Revoking or letting it lapse ends access at once. Nothing is deleted.

Read the scrutiny audit

  1. Open "Audit". It lists events run under your body at any organiser.
  2. Open an event to see the scrutiny records for each entry and the published scrutineering schedules.
  3. Choose "Download audit CSV" for a file.

The audit is read-only.

What is not here

  • There is no screen for approving an event, issuing event permits or setting up a calendar. Organisers record your answer to their supplementary regulations themselves. See Issue the supplementary regulations.
  • Officials' hours are returned to you as a file the organiser downloads from their own console. You do not receive it in the app.
  • Results and series standings belong to the organiser or series that runs them.

See Getting started as a scrutineer for the process your accredited scrutineers follow.
